OMG

I can hardly believe my eyes! This is the nicest thing Eddie has ever done. I am SO proud of him!

Muffin was crying and stopped. I turned around and was amazed seeing this. Eddie has always been mean to Muffin, even trying to bite her when she accidentally nudged him when he was sleeping not too long ago.

I am so happy!

Acupuncture Session #1

Well, Muffin had her first session of acupuncture today. She didn't seem to feel the pins. No "miraculous" improvement, but she gets another session Thursday morning. We're counting on this! (The steroidal medicine she's taking doesn't seem to be working.)

Dear Muffin-supporters and friends,

I can't tell you how great it feels to know that there are people out there who care about Muffin as much as I do. To know that you also believe that she should be properly cared for - despite her significant health challenges - means so much to me.

For her to have been given to me, where my friendships and acquaintances on Facebook and through rescue enable me to give her the care she deserves, is lucky indeed. Without you, I could not have done any of the things we have done for Muffin together.

She's an amazing dog, with a strong will to live. I am hopeful that all the effort we are putting into her care will pay off and she will not only walk again, but also get her hemangiosarcoma cancer in remission.

So again, from my heart, I thank you.
